Minnesota based artist unveils stories inspired by nature's beauty using unique techniques, media and colors.

RIMA GRAYGEE is a Minnesota based contemporary abstract artist. Her work unveils stories inspired by nature's beauty using unique techniques, media and colors. While Rima's bold pieces are perfect for modern living spaces, they also bring new life to traditional spaces.

Born in Basra, Iraq, and raised in Ottawa, Canada, Rima's fascination with art began at a very young age. She still remembers walking down her school hallways and peeking into the art room, being mesmerized by other students' art. Art, especially abstract art, has always had a special place in her heart, as she likes to imagine the stories hiding behind each canvas.

She began painting 14 years ago when she moved from Ottawa, Canada to Jackson, Mississippi. In September 2023 she became a full-time artist to pursue her dream in art. Currently residing in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Rima is creating art inspired by the state's beautiful nature. She uses different techniques, media and colors to produce original captivating artwork.
